Sea Kayaking Costa Rica Equiptments
Our fleet comprises Wilderness Systems Tsunami 140s (single), Perception Expression 14.5 (single)& 15.0 (single), and Wilderness Systems Polaris 180 T (Double). Our PFDs are NRS Clearwater Mesh Back, NRS Zoya Mesh Back, and Stohlquist EBB Mesh Back. Our Spray Skirts are Level Six Excursion Spray Skirts, Level Six Splash Deck Spray Skirt, and Inlander by Seal Skirts. They are so new that they don’t have pictures of them in action!. Our paddles are Werner Skagit FG 2 Piece Straight Shaft paddles; below are the specs, including weight:

For this trip, we use our own equipment with the exception of the sea kayaks. PFDs, paddles, and spraydecks are the same as mentioned above. The Guna’s fleet consists of “oldie but goodie” Current Design Storms, Current Designs Squalls, Aquaterra Sea Lions, and H.U.G. Double Sea Kayaks.
