The kayaking was exceptional!
A wonderful adventure in every respect. The kayaking was exceptional: exciting, challenging, and spectacularly beautiful. We completed several open-water crossings, replete with ocean swells that I had not previously encountered. It was really fun! At another point, we paddled gently through calm leeward waters around mangrove trees. With Nemecio in the lead kayak and Matias at our 0600, we felt both safe and motivated at all times.Matias is a consummate professional as an expedition organizer and guide. The trip through the islands of the Kuna comarca was very well-organized and executed. The all-Kuna crew of Nemacio, Orice, Fredio, Sadrack, and Richard was always busy and efficient setting up camp, preparing delicious meals, cleaning, or breaking down camp for our next stop.I also did not anticipate the meaningful introduction I received to the indigenous Kuna people's culture and environment, but I'm so very thankful for that aspect of the trip. It simply rounded out what was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this expedition!

8-Day Panama Sea Kayaking Adventure: San Blas Kayaking and Cultural Experience
A wonderful sea kayaking adventure with Sea Kayaking Costa Rica
We had a wonderful trip kayaking on the Golfo Dulce with Sea Kayaking Costa Rica. The organiser, Matias Flores, and the leader, Tito (Jose Tortos), had planned everything completely professionally. They met us at the airport, even though we had had to catch a later-than-expected connecting flight from Miami. They arranged all the transportation and accommodation in small, family-run ecolodges. The kayaking was fun, especially in a small group amidst beautiful scenery and wildlife, and we had good-quality boats and equipment. The group management was good, and we had regular stops for cold water and wonderful fruit snacks. Our leader, Tito, was very knowledgeable about the area and its wildlife. We saw bottle-nosed dolphins, toucans and macaws. We also did a 3-day trek in the Corcovado National Park with a guide, which Sea Kayaking Costa Rica arranged for us, including all the accommodation, transportation and our incredibly knowledgable guide.
